Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare and combine

Chill a coupe or martini glass by filling it with ice water and set aside. In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Brockmans Gin, 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice, 0.5 oz simple syrup, 0.5 oz blueberry-lavender cordial, and 0.5 oz egg white if using.

2

Dry shake

Seal the shaker and do a vigorous dry shake (without ice) for about 15–20 seconds to emulsify the egg white and create a silky foam.

3

Wet shake

Open the shaker, add 8 ice cubes, reseal and shake hard for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and well chilled.

4

Strain

Discard the ice water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer into the chilled coupe to remove ice shards and any blueberry solids, producing a smooth texture and an even foam head.

Garnish & Finish

5

Thread 4–6 fresh blueberries onto a cocktail pick (or scatter them into the drink) and place a lemon twist on the rim or float it on the foam. Optionally, lay a small lavender sprig across the top for aroma. Serve immediately.
