Preparation Steps
Prepare the Matcha
In a small bowl, sift the matcha powder to remove any clumps.
Mix with Hot Water
Add hot water (not boiling) to the sifted matcha powder. Use a bamboo whisk or a small whisk to mix until the matcha is fully dissolved and frothy.
Combine with Cold Water
In a separate glass, combine the cold water with ice cubes.
Pour and Serve
Slowly pour the prepared matcha over the cold water and ice. Stir gently to combine. Add sweetener if desired.
