Cooking Pasta

1

Boil the Spaghetti

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Making Tomato Sauce

Prepare the Sauce

In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more.

3

Add Tomatoes and Season

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer on low heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Preparing Tossed Salad

4

Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.

Making Garlic Bread

5

Prepare Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley. Spread the mixture onto the sliced baguette.

6

Bake the Bread

Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes or until golden and crisp.
