Basic Shot Ingredients (per 3 shots)

Garnish & Serving

Batch Option (for 12 shots / 4 scoring events)

Method

Basic Shot Preparation (makes 3 shots)

1

Chill glasses (optional)

If desired, place 3 shot glasses in the freezer for 10–15 minutes before serving to give chilled shots.

2

Prepare salt rim (optional)

If using salt, rub a lime wedge around the rim of each shot glass and dip rim in a small plate of coarse salt. Set glasses aside.

3

Mix the shot

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 1 cup). Pour in 3 oz vodka, 1.5 oz triple sec, 1.5 oz cranberry juice, and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice.

4

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and the mixture is well-chilled and slightly diluted.

5

Strain and serve

Strain the mixture into the 3 prepared shot glasses, filling each equally (about 1.5 oz per glass). Garnish each with a lime wedge on the rim or served alongside.

6

Drink responsibly

Serve immediately — for the watch party rule, take one shot per person every time a team scores. Pace drinking and provide water and food for guests.

Batch Preparation (makes 12 shots)

7

Chill batch

Fill a large pitcher with 4 cups of ice. Add 12 oz vodka, 6 oz triple sec, 6 oz cranberry juice, and 2 oz fresh lime juice.

8

Stir and rest

Stir the mixture thoroughly for 20–30 seconds to chill and combine. Let rest for 1–2 minutes so flavors meld and mixture chills through.

9

Prepare glasses and serve

If desired, rim shot glasses with salt. Strain the chilled mixture from the pitcher into 12 shot glasses (about 1 oz per shot glass). Garnish with lime wedges and keep pitcher on ice to top up between scoring events.

10

Safety note

Monitor alcohol consumption during the event. Offer non-alcoholic alternatives and ensure guests have safe transportation if needed.
