Shrimp Martini Ingredients

Method

Shrimp Martini Directions

1

Prepare the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a generous pinch of salt. Add the jumbo shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat, drain, and immediately plunge them into an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on for presentation.

2

Make the Cocktail Sauce

In a medium bowl, combine horseradish, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Mix well and adjust the seasoning with salt to taste. You can add more horseradish for an extra kick if desired.

3

Assemble the Shrimp Martini

In a martini glass, place a small amount of cocktail sauce at the bottom. Arrange the cooked shrimp around the rim of the glass, and add a wedge of lemon on the side for garnish. Top with a dollop of cocktail sauce in the center and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
