Classic Glass of Coke

1 cups coca-cola (chilled)4 pieces ice cubes1 piece lemon wedge (optional)1 piece maraschino cherry (optional)

12 oz coca-cola (chilled)8 pieces ice cubes1 slice lemon slice (optional)

Chill and Prepare Glass

If possible, chill the glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before serving to keep the drink colder longer. While the glass chills, ensure your Coca‑Cola is well chilled (ideally 38–45°F / 3–7°C).

Add 4 ice cubes to a standard serving glass.

Pour 1 cup (about 8 fl oz) of chilled Coca‑Cola gently into the glass over the ice. Pour slowly down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation and reduce foaming.

Optional: Squeeze the lemon wedge lightly over the top to add a hint of citrus, then drop the wedge into the drink.

Optional: Garnish with a maraschino cherry on top or on a cocktail pick.

Serve immediately with a straw or a stirrer.

For a Tall Serving (optional)

Fill a tall glass with 8 ice cubes.

Slowly pour 12 fl oz (about one standard can plus a splash) of chilled Coca‑Cola into the glass, pouring down the side to minimize foam.

Garnish with a lemon slice on the rim if desired.

Serve immediately.
