Preparation

1

Prep the Ingredients

Chop the kimchi into smaller pieces if large. Mince the garlic cloves and slice the green onions. Set aside.

2

Cook the Ground Beef

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

3

Scramble the Eggs

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Crack the eggs into the skillet and scramble them until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking

4

Fry the Rice

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the cooked rice, breaking up any clumps. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until heated through.

5

Add Kimchi and Beef

Stir in the chopped kimchi and cooked ground beef. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.

6

Season and Finish

Pour the soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice mixture. Add the scrambled eggs and sliced green onions. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper if necessary.
