In a small saucepan over low heat, combine 2 tsp honey and 0.25 tsp warm spice blend with 1 tablespoon of the orange juice. Warm gently, stirring until honey dissolves and spices bloom, about 1–2 minutes. Do not boil. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Make syrup

In a mixing glass or pitcher, pour 1.5 cups Muscat of Alexandria, remaining 0.5 cup minus 1 tbsp orange juice (so total orange juice used remains 0.5 cup) — if you used 1 tbsp for the syrup subtract it — and 2 tbsp orange liqueur. Add the cooled honey-spice syrup and 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice. Stir gently to combine.

Combine liquids

Taste for balance: Muscat is sweet and aromatic; if it needs more brightness, add up to 1/2 tsp more lemon juice. If you prefer slightly less sweetness, add 1–2 tbsp chilled sparkling water or club soda.

Taste and adjust

Chill: Place wine mixture in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes if not already chilled.

Prepare glassware: Use a chilled white wine glass or small stemmed goblet. If serving as a short aperitif, use a rocks glass over a single large ice cube.

Pour: Strain the wine mixture into the glass. If using optional sparkling water, top with 2 oz and stir gently once.

Garnish: Express the orange peel over the drink to release oils, then rim the glass with it and drop it in. Float a thin orange wheel or a single segment on top. Place the crisp orange tuile or thin almond biscuit on the rim or alongside the glass; sprinkle finely chopped toasted almonds on the tuile if used. Add 2–3 microgreen leaves or a small sprig of mint/lemon balm for aroma.

Serve immediately while chilled. Recommend pairing with light cheese, honeyed nuts, or a small citrus-scented tart to echo the Terra Ambera profile.
