Thai Fried Rice

Method

Thai Fried Rice

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all your ingredients: cooked jasmine rice, diced onion, diced tomato, chopped cilantro, vegetable oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

2

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

3

Sauté Onion and Garlic

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

4

Add Tomato and Rice

Add the diced tomato to the skillet and stir for another minute. Then, add the cooked jasmine rice, breaking up any clumps, and mix well.

5

Season the Rice

Pour the soy sauce over the rice mixture, add salt and pepper to taste, and stir everything together for about 5 minutes, allowing the rice to heat through and absorb the flavors.

6

Finish with Cilantro

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped cilantro just before serving. Serve hot.
