Add Curry Paste
Stir in your choice of curry paste (red, yellow, green, Panang, Masaman, or pineapple) and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly to combine with the aromatics.
Cook the Beef
Add the sliced beef to the pot, stirring to coat with the curry paste. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the beef is browned on all sides.
Add Coconut Milk
Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
Season the Curry
Stir in the fish sauce, sugar, and lime juice. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Finish with Basil
Finally, stir in the fresh basil leaves and remove the pot from heat.
Serving
Serve
Serve the beef Thai curry hot with steamed rice or noodles, garnished with additional basil if desired.
