Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filet Mignon

Season the filet mignon with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Filet Mignon

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the filet mignon for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust cooking time for desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove the filet mignon from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board, covered loosely with foil.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Lobster Tail

Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the lobster tail shell lengthwise to expose the meat. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell.

  5. 5

    Cook the Lobster Tail

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the lobster tails and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  6. 6

    Make the Dill Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the remaining butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in fresh dill and lemon juice, cooking for another minute.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the filet mignon and place it alongside the lobster tail on a plate. Drizzle the dill sauce over both the steak and the lobster before serving.
