Assembly and Baking

1

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Stuff Cannelloni

Using a piping bag or a spoon, fill each cannelloni tube with the prepared filling mixture. Be careful not to overfill.

3

Prepare Sauce

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the marinara sauce, dried oregano, and chopped fresh basil. Stir to combine and heat through for about 5 minutes.

4

Assemble Cannelloni

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place the filled cannelloni tubes in a single layer on top of the sauce. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the cannelloni, ensuring they are well covered.

5

Add Topping

Sprinkle the additional shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the cannelloni.

6

Bake

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

7

Serve

Let the cannelloni cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional fresh basil if desired.
