Cocktail

  1. 1

    Prepare glass

Chill a tall pilsner or large wine glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice and water while assembling ingredients, then discard the water.

  2. 2

    Make/measure strawberry purée

If you don't have ready purée: quarter 3–4 medium ripe strawberries and pulse in a blender or food processor until smooth. For a slightly seed-free purée, press through a fine mesh sieve. Measure 1.5 oz (about 3 tablespoons) of purée.

  3. 3

    Build the spritz

Fill the chilled glass about halfway with fresh ice (approximately 1 cup). Pour in the 1.5 oz strawberry purée, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup over the ice. Gently pour 8 oz Canyon Rosé Lager into the glass, allowing it to mix with the purée but pouring slowly to preserve carbonation.

  4. 4

    Top with Prosecco

Carefully top the drink with 2 oz chilled Prosecco poured over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass to create a light layered fizz. This will add brightness and extra effervescence.

  5. 5

    Garnish and serve

Gently stir once with a long bar spoon (1–2 turns) to integrate the purée without flattening the bubbles. Garnish with a sliced fresh strawberry on the rim and an optional lemon twist. Serve immediately with a straw or cocktail pick.
