Bottled Water Recipe

Check seal and temperature

Confirm the bottled water is commercially sealed and within its best-by date. If chilled, remove from cooler or refrigerator just before serving to maintain temperature.

If the bottle is sealed and you plan to serve directly from it, wipe the cap and neck with a clean napkin or cloth to remove any dust or residue.

Open the bottle by twisting off the cap. Place the cap on a clean surface or hold it in your hand while pouring to avoid contamination.

Prepare glass

If serving in a glass, place 4 ice cubes into the glass. Use a clean glass and napkin to handle it by the base or stem to avoid warming the rim with your hands.

Pour water

Pour water from the opened bottle into the glass slowly to prevent splashing. Fill to your desired level, leaving space if you plan to add a lemon wedge or straw.

Garnish (optional)

If desired, squeeze the lemon wedge lightly over the surface to release a hint of flavor, then drop the wedge into the glass or set it on the rim.

Insert a straw if requested and serve immediately with a napkin.

If serving directly from the bottle, you may hand the opened bottle to the guest or pour into their glass. Ensure the mouth of the bottle does not touch the guest's mouth.

Recap the bottle if any remains by screwing the cap back on tightly and refrigerate or place in cooler for later use.
