Pork Belly

Tangy Sauce

Method

Preparing the Pork Belly

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

2

Season the Pork Belly

Rub the pork belly with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder evenly on all sides.

3

Cut the Pork Belly

Cut the seasoned pork belly into bite-sized cubes, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) pieces.

4

Bake the Pork Belly

Place the pork belly cubes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until crispy and golden, flipping halfway through.

Making the Tangy Sauce

5

Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sriracha, and sesame oil. Mix well.

6

Thicken the Sauce

In a separate small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water until smooth. Add this mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.

Serving

7

Serve the Pork Belly Bites

Remove the pork belly bites from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with the tangy sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.
