Cocktail

1

Prepare glass (optional salt rim)

If you want a salted rim, rub the lime wedge around the outside rim of a highball or Collins glass, then dip the rim into the coarse or flaky salt spread on a small plate. Set glass aside.

2

Mix cocktail

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Add 2 oz blanco tequila, 1 oz Hotel Starlino Arancione, 2 oz fresh pink grapefruit juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice and 0.5 oz simple syrup. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well-chilled.

3

Strain and top

Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken mixture into the glass over the ice. Top with about 2 oz club soda (adjust to taste) and gently stir once to integrate.

4

Garnish

Garnish with a grapefruit wheel or wedge and optionally a lime wheel. Serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by varying the simple syrup (0–0.75 oz). Use freshly squeezed grapefruit and lime for best flavor. Hotel Starlino Arancione adds a bittersweet orange-marmalade note—substitute another orange aperitivo if unavailable, keeping quantity the same.
