1

Prep glass

Chill a coupe or chilled old-fashioned glass by filling it with ice and cold water. Let sit while you mix the cocktail.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Bombay Sapphire gin, 0.5 oz Luxardo Bitter Bianco, 0.75 oz Lillet Blanc, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup.

3

Add ice and shake

Add 6 ice cubes to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is cold to the touch and the exterior shows frost.

4

Empty glass and strain

Discard the ice and water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or over fresh ice in an old-fashioned glass, using a hawthorne and fine-mesh strainer to catch small shards of ice and any pulp.

5

Garnish

Express the oils of a lemon twist over the drink by holding the twist over the glass and giving it a quick pinch, then run the twist around the rim and drop it into the cocktail as garnish.

6

Serve

Serve immediately. The estimated drink yields one serving. Encourage drinking while cold and bright.
