Brewing Instructions
1. Mashing
Combine the malted barley and corn with hot water in a mash tun. Allow to rest for about 60 minutes at 65°C (149°F) to convert starches to sugars.
2. Lautering
After mashing, drain the liquid (wort) from the mash tun and rinse the grains with additional hot water to extract more sugars.
3. Boiling
Bring the wort to a boil and add hops. Boil for around 60 minutes, then cool the wort rapidly after boiling.
4. Fermentation
Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel and add yeast. Allow to ferment at around 18-22°C (64-72°F) for 1-2 weeks.
5. Conditioning
After fermentation, transfer the beer to a conditioning tank. Allow it to condition for an additional 1-2 weeks.
6. Bottling
Once conditioning is complete, bottle the beer and allow it to carbonate for another week before consuming.
