1. Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into uniform chunks. This will help them cook evenly.

2. Boil the Potatoes

Place the potato chunks in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add 1 tsp of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

3. Prepare the Garlic

While the potatoes are boiling, peel the garlic cloves and mince them finely.

4. Cook the Garlic

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
