Method

Fried Catfish

1

Prepare the Catfish

Rinse the catfish fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

2

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a shallow bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

3

Dip in Buttermilk

Dip each catfish fillet in buttermilk, then dredge in the cornmeal mixture, coating well.

4

Fry the Catfish

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the catfish fillets for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Fried Shrimp

5

Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, mix egg and milk together. In another bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

6

Coat the Shrimp

Dip each shrimp into the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture.

7

Fry the Shrimp

Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet. Fry the shrimp until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Wings

8

Prepare the Wings

Season chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

9

Fry the Wings

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer. Fry the wings until crispy and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
