Blender method (if no juicer)
Place chopped carrots, peeled oranges, ginger and 1/2 cup cold water into a high-speed blender. Blend on high until very smooth (about 60–90 seconds). Pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag into a bowl, pressing or squeezing to extract as much liquid as possible. Stir in lemon juice and honey to taste. Add ice cubes if desired and serve.

Notes: Fresh juice is best enjoyed immediately for maximum nutrient and flavor retention. Store any leftover juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
Berry Protein Smoothie (single serving)
- 9
Prepare ingredients
Measure the frozen berries, protein powder, oats, chia seeds and milk. If using a fresh banana, slice and consider adding an extra ice cube for thickness.
- 10
Soak (optional for smoother texture)
If you have time, stir the oats and chia seeds into the milk and let sit 5–10 minutes to soften. This yields a smoother mouthfeel but is optional.
- 11
Blend
Add berries, banana, protein powder, soaked or dry oats and chia, milk and maple syrup to the blender. Add ice if you want it colder/thicker. Blend on high until smooth, 30–60 seconds, scraping down sides once if needed.
- 12
Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness. Pour into a glass and drink immediately for best texture. Leftover smoothies can be refrigerated up to 24 hours but will separate — shake or stir before drinking.
