Place the unopened bottle of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut Rosé in an ice bath made of ice and cold water (about 2 cups ice to 4 cups cold water) for 20–30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches approximately 6–8°C (43–46°F). Alternatively, chill in the refrigerator for at least 3–4 hours.

Chill the bottle

Place flutes in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes before serving or set them in the freezer for 5–10 minutes. If you prefer not to chill the glassware, rinse with cold water and let drain briefly.

Chill glassware

If using strawberries, wash and dry them, then slice lengthwise into thin slices. If using lemon twists, use a peeler or small knife to cut thin strips of lemon peel and twist lightly to release oils.

Prepare optional garnishes

Remove the foil and loosen the wire cage while keeping your thumb over the cork. Hold the bottle at a 45° angle away from people and break the cage seam. While keeping a firm grip on the cork, gently twist the bottle (not the cork) to ease the cork out slowly. Aim for a soft 'sigh' rather than a loud pop to preserve bubbles and avoid splashing.

Open the bottle

Hold the flute by the stem and tilt it slightly. Pour the champagne slowly down the inside of the glass to preserve effervescence, filling each flute about two-thirds full (approximately 90–120 ml per flute for a standard 750 ml bottle, serving 6). If using a garnish, slide one thin strawberry slice or a lemon twist into each glass.

Pour properly

Serve immediately while the champagne is cold and bubbly. Advise guests to sip and enjoy the fine mousse, fruity notes and balanced acidity of the rosé. If leftover, reseal with a champagne stopper and refrigerate; consume within 1–2 days for best bubbles.
