Preparation

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries. Soak the fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

2

Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Ensure there's enough oil to fully submerge the fries.

3

Fry the Potatoes

Remove the fries from the water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Fry the potatoes in batches, cooking for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

4

Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, season with salt and black pepper to taste.

5

Add Toppings

Drizzle the truffle oil over the fries, then sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley on top. Toss gently to combine.
