Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and a few ice cubes. Secure the lid and shake well for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. If you prefer a frozen margarita, you can blend the ingredients with ice instead.
