Base & Liquid

Boosters — Focus & Calm

Final Touches & Garnish

Method

Base & Liquid

  1. 1

    Combine liquids

In a 1.5–2 quart pitcher, pour 4 cups filtered water, 1 cup cold-brew green tea, and 1 cup unsweetened coconut water. Stir gently to combine.

  2. 2

If you prefer a chilled drink immediately, add 1 cup ice now; otherwise chill later in the refrigerator.

Boosters — Focus & Calm

  1. 3

    Dissolve L-theanine and matcha

Measure 200 mg L-theanine powder (about 1/8–1/4 tsp depending on density) into a small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of the mixed liquid and whisk to dissolve into a smooth slurry. Scrape into the pitcher.

  2. 4

Sift or whisk 1 tsp matcha powder with 1–2 tbsp warm water to make a smooth paste, then whisk into the pitcher to avoid clumps. Add 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice and stir.

Boosters — Energy & Electrolytes

  1. 5

Add 2 tsp raw honey or maple syrup to the pitcher. If honey is thick, warm it slightly and pre-dissolve in 1–2 tbsp warm liquid before adding.

  2. 6

Add a pinch of sea salt and 1 tsp powdered electrolyte blend (if using). Stir until fully dissolved to ensure even mineral distribution.

Immunity & Flavor

  1. 7

Grate approximately 1 tsp fresh ginger directly into the pitcher. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder and a pinch of ground black pepper — pepper increases turmeric's curcumin absorption. Stir well.

  2. 8

Add 1 tsp raw apple cider vinegar and stir; taste and adjust acidity with an extra 1/2 tsp if you prefer tangier balance.

  3. 9

Allow the mixture to rest for 5–10 minutes so flavors meld and any fine particulates settle slightly. If you used matcha paste and it appears foamy, give a final gentle stir.

Final Touches & Serve

  1. 10

Taste and adjust sweetness, salt, or lemon as needed: add up to 1 tsp more honey/maple, another pinch of salt, or extra lemon 1/2–1 tsp.

  2. 11

Fill glasses with ice if desired. Pour the Trail Magic drink over ice and garnish each glass with 3 fresh mint leaves and 2 thin lemon slices.

  3. 12

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Shake or stir before serving as some ingredients may settle.
