High Vibe Mule - Cocktail

Method

High Vibe Mule - Build & Serve

1

Prepare glass

Chill a copper mule mug or highball glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes, or fill it with ice water while you prepare ingredients to get it cold. Drain the ice water before building the drink.

2

Add base spirits

Fill the chilled mug with crushed ice about three-quarters full. Pour in 2 oz vodka, 0.5 oz ginger liqueur (or ginger syrup), and 0.5 oz bright herbal spirit (like elderflower liqueur).

3

Citrus and bitters

Add 0.75 oz fresh lime juice. If using bitters, add 2 dashes now to lift aromatics and complexity.

4

Top with ginger beer

Gently stir once or twice to combine the spirits and lime, then top with 4 oz chilled ginger beer. Stir very lightly again to preserve carbonation and create a gentle froth on top.

5

Garnish and finish

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim, tuck a fresh mint sprig into the ice for aroma, and add a candied or fresh ginger slice if desired. Serve immediately with a short stirring spoon or straw.

Notes & variations

For a lower-alcohol version, reduce vodka to 1 oz and increase ginger beer to 6 oz. For non-alcoholic, replace vodka and herbal liqueur with a non-alcoholic spirit or additional ginger syrup + a splash of floral tonic. Adjust ginger liqueur vs syrup to control sweetness. Use spicy ginger beer for more bite.
