Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Oysters

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Clean the oysters thoroughly and place them on a baking sheet.

2

Make the Motoyaki Sauce

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, soy sauce, Sriracha, and lemon juice until smooth. Set aside.

3

Smoke the Dates

Toss the pitted dates with smoked paprika and olive oil. Place them on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until they are slightly caramelized.

Baking

4

Prepare Oysters for Baking

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until fragrant, about 1 minute.

5

Top the Oysters

Spoon the garlic butter mixture over each oyster, then top with grated Parmesan cheese.

6

Bake the Oysters

Bake the oysters in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

7

Assemble the Dish

On a serving platter, place the baked oysters. Drizzle the motoyaki sauce over them, and garnish with smoked dates and prosciutto slices.
