Prepare strawberry puree
In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth, yielding about 2 cups of bright strawberry puree.
Add lemon juice and sugar to puree
Pour 1 cup lemon juice into the strawberry puree and whisk in 0.75 cup granulated sugar until completely dissolved.
Dilute with cold water
Stir in 4 cups cold water until the lemonade is well mixed and evenly tinted pink.
Add ice and chill
Add 2 cups ice cubes and stir until the mixture is chilled. Taste and adjust sweetness with a bit more sugar if desired.
