Method

Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the red onion and tomato into small pieces. Cut the smoked salmon into strips.

2

Whisk the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together until well mixed. Season with salt and black pepper.

3

Cook the Omelette

In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the egg mixture and let it cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to set.

4

Add Fillings

Once the edges are set, gently lift them with a spatula and allow uncooked egg to flow underneath. Add the smoked salmon, red onion, tomato, capers, and dollops of cream cheese on one half of the omelette.

5

Fold and Finish Cooking

Carefully fold the omelette in half over the fillings. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the inside is cooked to your liking and the cream cheese is slightly melted.

6

Serve

Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot, garnished with additional capers or herbs if desired.
