Directions

1

Prepare the confit tomatoes

Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F). In a baking dish, combine cherry tomatoes, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast in the oven for about 1 hour until they are soft and slightly caramelized.

2

Make the balsamic reduction

In a small saucepan, bring the balsamic vinegar to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes until it thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool.

3

Prepare the bread

While the tomatoes and balsamic reduction are cooking, slice the fresh bread into thick slices. You can toast it lightly if desired.

4

Assemble the dish

On a serving platter, place the burrata cheese in the center. Surround it with the confit tomatoes and fresh basil leaves. Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the burrata and tomatoes. Serve with the fresh bread on the side.
