Method
Primary
Fill bottle
Rinse the reusable water bottle if not recently cleaned. Fill the bottle with 500 ml of filtered water, leaving about 1–2 cm (0.5–1 inch) of headspace at the top to allow for expansion if ice is used.
Optional additions
Add ice
If using ice cubes, add 4 ice cubes into the bottle after filling or before filling to chill the water quickly. Be careful not to overfill if your bottle mouth is narrow.
Add mint
If using mint leaves, lightly bruise the leaves between your fingers to release aroma and add them to the bottle with the water. Gently swirl to mix.
Add electrolyte powder
If using electrolyte powder, add 1 tsp to the bottle and screw the cap on tightly. Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until fully dissolved.
Serve & store
Secure the bottle cap and drink immediately or store chilled in the refrigerator. Consume within 24–48 hours for best freshness, especially if citrus or herbs were added. Clean the bottle after use.
