Method
Sparkling Water
Chill bottle
Place a 500 ml bottle of San Pellegrino in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving, or keep it in an ice bucket for 15–20 minutes to chill quickly. Serving temperature should be around 6–8°C (42–46°F) for best carbonation and flavor.
If you prefer your drink extra cold, add 4–6 ice cubes to the glass just before pouring. Note: adding ice will slightly dilute carbonation as it melts.
Open the bottle carefully. Hold the bottle upright and twist the cap slowly to release pressure and preserve carbonation and bubbles.
Garnish (optional)
Lightly slap the mint sprig between your palms to release aroma and place it in the glass or on the rim as a fresh garnish.
Glassware & service
Present the chilled bottle alongside the prepared glass so guests can see the brand and pour for themselves if desired. Re-seal the bottle with its cap if there is leftover and refrigerate to maintain carbonation.
