In a large mash tun, combine the malted barley and 15 liters of hot water (around 65°C). Stir well and allow to mash for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, transfer the mixture to a lauter tun and drain the wort. Rinse the grains with an additional 5 liters of hot water to extract more sugars.

Lautering

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the hops and boil for 60 minutes. Adjust timing based on desired bitterness.

Boiling

After boiling, cool the wort quickly to around 20°C using a wort chiller.

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel and pitch the yeast. Seal the vessel and allow fermentation to occur for 1-2 weeks at a stable temperature (around 18-22°C).

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer. Bottle the beer and cap securely.

Bottling

Allow the bottled beer to condition for 1-2 weeks at room temperature before refrigerating.
