Carne Asada

Guacamole

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Place the flank or skirt steak in the marinade, ensuring it's well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat the Grill

Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place it on the hot grill. Grill for about 4-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.

Grill the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Slice against the grain into thin strips.

Serve the carne asada warm, garnished with fresh chopped cilantro. Enjoy with tortillas and your choice of toppings!

In a medium bowl, cut the ripe avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into the bowl. Mash the avocados with a fork until you reach your desired consistency (smooth or chunky).

Add lime juice, finely chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, finely chopped jalapeño, salt, and diced tomato to the mashed avocados. Stir gently until all ingredients are well combined.
