Prepare Taco Beef
Cook the beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add seasoning
Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning, mixing well. Add about 1/4 cup of water if needed for moisture, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Make Taco Crema
Combine ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, lime juice, and garlic powder until smooth. Set aside.
Assemble Taco Bowl
Layer ingredients
In a bowl, start with a base of cooked rice. Top with seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, salsa, shredded cheese, and corn chips.
Add toppings
Drizzle taco crema over the top and garnish with sliced jalapeños. Add additional sour cream if desired.
