Ribs

Method

Preparation

1

Marinate the Ribs

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, gochujang, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix well. Place the baby back ribs in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for better flavor.

Cooking

2

Cook the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the ribs from the marinade, reserving the marinade. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil and cover them tightly with another sheet of foil. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until the ribs are tender.

3

Glaze and Finish

After baking, remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil. Brush the reserved marinade over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the ribs are caramelized and slightly charred.

Serving

4

Garnish and Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes. Slice the ribs and arrange them on a platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, fresh cilantro, and green onions. Serve with wonton crisps on the side.
