Base & Liquid

Method

Prepare Ingredients

1

Measure and assemble all ingredients on the counter so nothing is missed. If you haven't frozen the banana ahead of time, slice and use ice cubes to keep the shake cold.

2

If you prefer a thinner shake, have an extra 1/4 to 1/2 cup of almond milk ready.

Blend the Shake

3

Layer in Blender

Pour 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk into the blender first (liquid at the bottom helps blades move). Add 1 cup Greek yogurt, 2 scoops protein powder, and 1 tablespoon rolled oats.

4

Add fruit and flavorings: 1 frozen banana, 1 cup frozen mixed berries, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. If using espresso/coffee for mocha, add 1 teaspoon now.

5

Add optional boosters: 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds and 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup if you want extra sweetness. If using fresh fruit instead of frozen, add 4 ice cubes.

6

Secure the lid and blend on high for 45–60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and no large fruit or ice pieces remain. Stop and scrape down the sides once if necessary, then blend another 10–15 seconds.

Adjust & Serve

7

Check consistency. If the shake is too thick, add milk 2 tablespoons at a time and pulse until you reach desired thickness. If too thin, add 1/4 cup frozen fruit or a few more ice cubes and blend briefly.

8

Taste and adjust sweetness or flavor. Add another 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup or a pinch of salt to enhance flavor if needed; blend briefly to combine.

9

Pour the shake into two glasses (or one large to-go bottle). Optionally garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon, a few whole berries, or a dusting of protein powder.

10

Serve immediately for best texture. If storing, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours—shake well before drinking as separation may occur.
