Green Detox Juice
Carrot-Orange Immunity Juice
Beet-Berry Energizer
Method
Green Detox Juice
If using a blender
Place kale, spinach, cucumber, apple, lemon, ginger, 1/2 cup cold water (or coconut water) and ice in the blender. Blend on high until very smooth (about 45–60 seconds). Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag into a bowl, pressing or squeezing to extract as much liquid as possible. Transfer juice to a glass, stir, and serve immediately.
Taste and adjust: if the juice is too vegetal, add a few more apple pieces or a small pinch of salt. Serve over additional ice if desired.
Carrot-Orange Immunity Juice
Prep
Peel and chop carrots into pieces suitable for your juicer or blender. Peel the orange (and tangerine if using). Peel turmeric root if using fresh; otherwise measure ground turmeric.
If using a juicer
Run carrots, orange, (tangerine) and turmeric through the juicer. Stir in 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 1/4 cup cold water to reach desired consistency. Add ice to chill and serve.
If using a blender
Combine carrots, orange, turmeric, lemon juice and 1/4 cup cold water in the blender. Blend until completely smooth (60–90 seconds). Strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag to remove pulp, pressing to extract juice. Serve over ice.
Sweetness adjustment: if the juice is too tart or earthy, stir in up to 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey to taste.
Beet-Berry Energizer
Prep
If using raw beet, roast or boil until tender, then cool and peel. Chop beet into small pieces. If using raw small beet and your juicer handles raw beets, you may skip cooking. Rinse berries if fresh; thaw slightly if frozen. Core and quarter the apple.
If using a juicer
Run beet, berries, apple, and orange juice through the juicer. Taste and add 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey if additional sweetness is desired. Stir in 1/4 cup cold water to loosen consistency if needed. Serve over ice.
If using a blender
Place beet, berries, apple, orange juice, maple syrup (if using) and 1/4 cup cold water into the blender. Blend on high until completely smooth (60–90 seconds). Strain through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag, pressing to extract juice. Serve chilled over ice.
Note: Beets stain — use caution with clothing and countertops. Leftover pulp can be used in smoothies, baking or composted.
