Place the bottle of Prost Mosel Riesling in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving so it reaches about 8–10°C (46–50°F). For faster chilling, submerge the bottle in an ice-water bath for 20–30 minutes.

Chill

When ready to serve, remove the bottle from the fridge or ice bath. Wipe the neck dry and use a corkscrew (or twist off cap if applicable) to open the bottle cleanly. Inspect for any off odors; the wine should present aromas of apples and tropical fruit.

Open

Hold the glass by the stem and pour approximately 5 fl oz (150 ml) per serving. Fill the glass to about one-third full to allow the aromas to concentrate for tasting and aperitif enjoyment.

Pour

If you prefer a slightly more refreshing, spritz-like aperitif, add 2–4 ice cubes to the glass before pouring. Note: adding ice will dilute and chill the wine further; use sparingly to preserve flavor.

Optional ice (aperitif style)

Add a thin apple slice or a lemon twist to the rim or float it in the glass to complement the wine's apple and tropical fruit aromas. Optionally tuck a small mint sprig beside the garnish for a fresh aromatic note.

Garnish

Swirl gently, inhale to appreciate the aroma, and take a small sip to confirm balance. If you want a slightly brighter acid profile, serve with a slimmer pour and allow the wine a minute to open in the glass.
