Bottled Water (Single Serving)
Optional Add-ins
Method
Prepare Bottle
Chill or Select
If you prefer cold water, chill the bottled water in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours before serving. For instant chill, place the bottle in an ice bucket for 10–15 minutes.
Inspect the bottle to ensure the seal is intact and the cap is clean. Wipe the top of the bottle if needed before opening.
Open the bottle by twisting the cap counterclockwise. If the bottle has a tamper-evident ring, remove it completely.
Optional Serving Enhancements
Add Ice
If using ice, pour water into a clean glass over 3–4 ice cubes. Alternately, add ice cubes directly into the bottle if you prefer to keep water inside the bottle.
Mint
Gently clap the mint sprigs between your palms to release aroma and add them to the glass or bottle.
Sweeten (optional)
If you want a lightly sweetened drink, stir 1 teaspoon of simple syrup or dissolve 1 teaspoon of honey in a small amount of warm water, then add to the glass and stir gently.
If you added any ingredients to a glass, serve immediately. If you added them to the bottle, replace the cap loosely to keep carbonation if sparkling, or close fully for still water and refrigerate any leftovers promptly.
Finish
Enjoy your bottled water. Dispose of or recycle the empty bottle according to local recycling guidelines.
