Prepare the Dough
In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, milk, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead and Chill
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Roll and Fold
Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Place softened butter in the center and fold the dough over it. Roll out and fold several times to create layers. Chill for another hour.
Shape and Bake
Cut the dough into triangles, roll them up from the base to the tip. Place on a baking sheet, let rise for 30 minutes, then bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Mix Together
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Chill the Dough
Knead the dough and let it rise for 1 hour, then chill for 30 minutes.
Make the Filling
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Shape and Bake
Roll out the dough, cut into squares, fill with the cream cheese mixture, fold, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
