Method
Prep
Measure fresh grapefruit and lime juice. If you prefer a slightly sweeter Paloma, have the simple syrup ready.
Build the Cocktail
Fill the prepared glass with ice (about 1 cup cubed ice).
In the glass (or in a shaker if you prefer to mix first), pour 2 oz Cazadores tequila, 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice.
If using, add 0.5 tsp simple syrup. Stir gently to combine the spirits and juices (about 5–8 seconds) so flavors marry without excessive dilution.
Top slowly with 3 oz chilled grapefruit soda, pouring over the back of a spoon if you want a layered look, or pour directly and lightly stir once to integrate (1–2 gentle stirs).
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a grapefruit wedge or wheel on the rim. Optionally express a small twist of grapefruit peel over the drink to release oils, then drop it in.
Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer. Enjoy.
