An experimental IPA made differently every time it's brewed, offering a unique taste with each batch.

In a large pot, heat 20 liters of water to about 70°C (158°F). Add the pale malt and caramel malt, stirring well. Maintain the temperature for 60 minutes to allow the sugars to extract.

Mashing the Grains

After mashing, sparge the grains with hot water to collect the wort. Aim for about 20 liters of wort.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil and add the hops. Boil for 60 minutes, adding additional hops at various intervals for flavor and aroma, depending on the desired profile for that batch.

Boiling

After boiling, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches around 20°C (68°F).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel and add the yeast. Seal the vessel and let it ferment at around 18-22°C (64-72°F) for about 1-2 weeks.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer. Bottle the beer and cap. Let it carbonate for another 1-2 weeks.

Chill the bottles and enjoy your unique Hop Rasa IPA!
