Light lager with pleasant aroma which equally blends tastes of both malt and hop with short refreshing bitter final taste. It is made according to a Czech traditional recipe with eye – taking light gold color and rich froth. 4.8% alcohol.

In a large pot, combine the Pilsner Malt and Carapils Malt with 5 liters of filtered water. Heat the mixture to 65-68°C (149-154°F) for 60 minutes to allow the enzymes to convert the starches into sugars.

Prepare the Mash

After mashing, sparge the grains with additional hot water to collect the wort. This process helps extract the sugars from the grains.

Sparging

Bring the collected wort to a boil. Once boiling, add Saaz Hops and Hallertau Hops. Boil for 60 minutes.

Ten minutes before the end of the boiling process, add the corn sugar to the boiling wort to help with fermentation.

After boiling, cool the wort quickly to about 20°C (68°F). Transfer to a fermentation vessel and pitch in the Pale Ale Yeast.

Seal the fermentation vessel with an airlock and let it ferment at around 20°C (68°F) for approximately 1-2 weeks or until fermentation is complete.

Once fermentation is complete, siphon the beer into clean bottles, leaving a little space at the top. Cap the bottles securely.

Bottle the Beer

Let the bottles sit at room temperature for 1-2 weeks to carbonate before refrigerating and serving cold.
