Citrus & Fruit Base
Coconut & Sweeteners
Ice & Garnish
Method
Prepare the Base
- 1
Measure and mix juices
In a large pitcher, combine 0.5 cup fresh lime juice, 1 cup pineapple juice, and 1 cup orange juice. Stir gently to blend flavors.
- 2
Incorporate coconut
Add 0.25 cup cream of coconut to the juice mixture. Whisk or shake vigorously until the cream of coconut is fully integrated and the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy. Taste and add up to 1 teaspoon simple syrup if you prefer it sweeter.
Assemble Drinks
- 3
Prepare glasses
Fill four tall glasses evenly with about 3/4 cup crushed ice each (total ~3 cups crushed ice divided).
- 4
Pour base over ice
Divide the coconut-citrus mixture evenly among the four glasses, pouring slowly so the ice settles and chills the liquid.
- 5
Add grenadine for layered effect
Slowly drizzle 1/2 tablespoon (total 2 tablespoons divided) grenadine into each glass. Let it sink toward the bottom for a pretty red-to-yellow gradient. If desired, gently stir 1 or 2 times to slightly mingle the grenadine without losing the layered look.
Garnish & Serve
- 6
Top each glass with a lime wheel or wedge and an optional pineapple wedge or cherry. Add a mint sprig for aroma if using. Serve immediately with a straw or a long stirring spoon.
