Churro Dough
Method
Churro Preparation
Heat the Oil
In a large, deep pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Pipe the Churros
Transfer the churro dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Once the oil is hot, pipe strips of dough into the oil, cutting them to your desired length with scissors.
Fry the Churros
Fry the churros in batches, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Coat with Sugar and Cinnamon
In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon. While the churros are still warm, roll them in the sugar mixture until fully coated.
