Method
Prep & Rim
Rim the glass
Pour the Tajín (and optional coarse salt) onto a small plate. Run the lime wedge around the rim of a rocks or coupe glass, then dip the rim into the Tajín to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
Macerate & Shake
Macerate jalapeño
Place 3 jalapeño slices in a cocktail shaker. Add the agave syrup and gently muddle 6–8 times to release the oils and heat. If you prefer milder spice, remove seeds before slicing and muddle more gently.
Combine cocktail
Add the blanco tequila, green juice, fresh lime juice, and a handful of ice to the shaker with the muddled jalapeño and agave.
Finish & Serve
Strain
Double-strain the mixture into the prepared Tajín-rimmed glass over fresh ice (use a fine mesh strainer in addition to the shaker strainer to catch jalapeño bits), or serve straight up without ice if preferred.
Garnish
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim and a jalapeño wheel floated on top (or skewered). Optionally sprinkle a tiny pinch of extra Tajín over the drink.
Serve immediately and enjoy. Adjust future versions by increasing or decreasing jalapeño slices or agave to balance heat and sweetness.
