Tiramisu Directions
Prepare the Coffee
Brew strong coffee and let it cool. If desired, mix in coffee liqueur.
Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
Mix Mascarpone and Sugar
In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Combine Mixtures
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until combined.
Soak the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, making sure not to soak them too long.
Layer the Tiramisu
In a serving dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone.
Chill and Serve
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
