Cocktail
- 1
Build and stir
Add mezcal, Cocchi Americano, and vermouth bianco to a mixing glass or shaker filled with ice. Use roughly 6 large ice cubes to chill and dilute properly.
- 2
Stir
Stir the mixture briskly for 20–30 seconds (about 20–30 rotations) until well chilled and slightly diluted. The drink should be cold to the touch on the outside of the mixing glass and have slight dilution.
- 3
Strain
Strain the chilled cocktail into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass (or an old-fashioned glass with a single large ice cube, if preferred). Use a fine hawthorne or julep strainer to remove small ice chips.
