1. Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti or fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Cook the Seafood
Add the shrimp, scallops, and mussels to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp turns pink and the mussels open.
4. Add Vegetables
Stir in the sliced mushrooms and halved cherry tomatoes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mushrooms soften.
5. Make it Creamy
Pour in the heavy cream, and season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
